Elita Prime and the Autobots that have returned from Earth have finally made it to the safety of their part of Cybertron. Meanwhile, Optimus and the Autobots who stayed on Earth continue to help the humans rebuild, while also adjusting to their new way of life. However, while all of that is going on a storm is brewing.

The Transformers have returned to Cybertron and find themselves behind enemy lines. Now Elita Prime must lead them through Decepticon territory to get back to their homes. But she was not expecting the welcoming committee that was waiting for them.

Megatron is being tortured for not living up to his full power and accomplishing that by kneeling before a mysterious being. Will Megatron humble himself for the promise of more power or will his need to be in control stop him from obtaining all he can be?

In the midst of the war with the Decepticons, Elita-1 challenges the authority of Optimus Prime. The Autobots are reeling from their latest battle and now the infighting has come to a boil. Who will be the leader of the Autobots when all is said and done?
