Poke would disagree. After his dead heart started beating again, things haven’t been right. His zombie tendencies have changed. This has caused many problems with hi best friend Mush.

Ever since its’ inception, Absolute Martian Manhunter has not been your average superhero story.

John Jones’ life has never been the same since bonding with the Martian. The town of Middleton wasn’t ready for the inhumane attacks from the White Martian. Surviving that ordeal took its’ toll on both heroes. This lead to a growing personal rift with Bridget, Jones’ wife. His son Tyler was presumed a causality until fate had other plans.

Poke’s change of heart (literally) is slowly breaking him.

After being awoken to human feelings, Poke has steered away from the normal zombie life. This has included befriending a little girl named “Rabbit” and her mother Cara. When his best friend catches wind of something not right, Poke’s cover becomes blown.

There’s something not quite right with his son Tyler. Could it be the White Martian didn’t go away like Jones and his “partner” thought? Also, who was the group at the end of last issue?
