A Mad Scientist isn’t so mad after all! Or so should be the takeaway upon reading the first issue of Mad Cave Studios’ newest series, The Omega Book. Alexander is a scientist who everyone thinks is crazy especially his son Brady. However, after Alexander’s untimely death, Brady discovers maybe his old man wasn’t as crazy as everyone thought.
FORT PSYCHO #1 (ONI PRESS)
When a dangerous terrorist group holds the world hostage you have to fight back with your own elite group of mercenaries. In this case you call on the SAW team and watch as destruction gets rained down on the enemy. However, when the mission is done someone needs to be held accountable. Fort Psycho from Oni Press takes us on that journey well also adding a nice mystery to hook the reader even more.
BABYLON COVE #3 (Mad Cave Studios)
As Heather continues to try and get to the bottom of whatever has its grip on her hometown. She runs into her biggest challenge and rival…Other Heather! THE LAST STARFIGHTER #1 (Mad Cave Studios)
After the events of the movie with the same name, we pick back up with Alex Rogan, The Last Starfighter. Mind MGMT: New & Improved #1 (ONI PRESS)
Here goes another writer/artist that I've heard a lot of good things about. So, when I saw Matt Kindt's name in the solicitations and the title of the book sounded interesting, I had to get my hands on it and I'm glad to say that Matt Kindt and his all new and improved version of Mind MGMT is worth the read
RACER X #8 (Mad Cave Studios)
All great things must come to an end, and unfortunately, we have arrived at the end of the first volume of Racer X. Racer X has been struggling with keeping the fact that he is Rex Racer from his family. On top of that his blood feud with Dante Ferno has gotten out of control. How can Racer X solve his problems and still finish in first place?
RACER X #7 (Mad Cave Studios)
With his back seemingly against the wall, Dante Ferno has a huge trick up his sleeve. He created a whole futuristic city for a race that he should be guaranteed to win. The only things that stand in between him and recouping the Tiger Syndicates money are Speed Racer and Racer X.
BABYLON COVE #1 (Mad Cave Studios)
Heather Hutchens is a young woman who is under appreciated at her job in NYC and has a bit of a main character syndrome going on. However, after the death of her father she must return home to the small New England town where she burned a ton of bridges. If this isn’t enough something strange and supernatural seems to be taking over the sleepy town of Babylon Cove as well.
RACER X #6 (Mad Cave Studios)
The G.R.X engine is about to takeover and dominate the X Circuit, that’s unless Racer X can do something about it. Armed with an experimental car design Pops and him started testing, Racer X is more than ready for the challenge. However, as always, the Alpha Automotive team has plans and designs of their own.
