Brady is in and out of consciousness after exiting the entanglement. Unfortunately, as time goes by, he loses more of the information he learned inside. To make things worse his father is disappearing from our plane of existence. Meanwhile, Cless is putting together the device he stole from the Omega Book and only needs one more piece to complete it. He knows where the piece is, but it means confronting the Woman with the .45.

WRITING:
This issue really adds to the urgency to stop Cless, while giving us a reason why Brady will have a hard time doing so. James Patrick makes Cless a bigger threat than he was before just in this issue. As he puts together his machine, he shows that he will be as ruthless as he needs to be to accomplish his goal. Going after the Woman with a .45 is a ballsy move for Cless, yet he shows no hesitation. Side note, Patrick showing us a softer side of the Woman, well still maintaining her defiance, was a perfect for the scene she is in. This issue really makes Cless a major threat and that’s before the reveal on the final page. Meanwhile, Brady is going through it. His body and mind are exhausted by the entanglement, and he is struggling to just stay with it. Patrick makes his journey even harder by taking away his father and then the knowledge he had learned. Couple this with Cless leveling up and Patrick is setting the stage for an all-time David vs Goliath battle.
ARTWORK:
The artwork in this issue matches the energy of the story perfectly. Pauli Junquera makes every page beautiful with the sci-fi artwork that is displayed. The mixture of the computerized world with the retro-looking real world gives an amazing dynamic to the settings of this story. The dramatic scenes are portrayed in a very emotional way; well the action scenes pack a punch. The color schemes make the artwork really stand out and further help differentiate where we are in the context to the setting. Pat Brosseau’s letters convey the emotion of the story, well also making the story easy to follow and clear. Together the art team puts together a fantastic journey that plays out panel to panel.
