Savannah’s talk with Marcus is met with justified frustration. The writing brings up the fractures in their foundation for a strong moment. It kickstarts a series of revelations that shatter any hope of trust. As with any mention of family, it invokes strong reactions. Williams drives this point home in Savannah’s reactions. Readers watch as the sequence doesn't have time to settle as danger kicks in. Aion enforcers have arrived. This moves into swift action for the group involved. It also allows a surprising reveal to send this issue home with. How this will all play out is unsure, but definitely will have readers attention.

Fulmore and Chavis’s vision of present day starts with a solid two page spread. Watching Savannah arrive at Jamie’s unpeels some layers of anger for what’s transpired. It also allows the worry to consume Jamie as they have to exit before being caught. After some fast action, they arrive with the rest of their group. Once here, readers can see those reactions come into full view. It is an honest take on how trust is broken.

Marcus’ stern look takes over panels. Readers can sense how mad he has become. The distrust only worsens when more secrets are revealed. How the group responds to telling Savannah the truth flips the tide on guilty parties. It is one element that readers will have to see how they side, Aion comes in and takes the drama away for some combat. Panels are swift but make their marks. This moves the story into its’ final stages. One character starts stealing the spotlight as they are most effected by what’s happening. It builds up more wonder heading into the final page. The last panel teases more curiosity which readers will gravitate for in the finale.

FINAL GRADE: 8.6
