As covered in last issue’s review, MacKay did a great deal of set-up re-uniting the team. In this issue, it’s nothing but pedal to the metal action. The assault on the mansion opens with no mercy. Readers watch as the team goes into business fast. The writing showcases the eclectic personalities as Ginnarr welcomes them in. Blade’s dialogue steals scenes as the action goes into overdrive once the team settles in.
The writing allows some great one-liners to creep in, esp. surrounding Moon Knight. Knowing he’s the catalyst for this trouble, MacKay adds some self loathing to his words. There never seems to be a wasted page when it comes to this fight. No one is over shadowed. This leads into an excellent twist in the finishing moments. Readers watch as the direction of attack is completely flipped. It leads into one of the more wilder finishes in comics recently. There’s no escaping having a loud reaction to what unfolds here.

The story is very solid in its’ own right but, WOW, Pramanik & Rosenberg put on a clinic of how to illustrate superhero fighting. The opening page of the heroes racing down the hallway sets a bold pace. This never falters as Ginnarr begins his hunt. The full page shot of the team gliding into action is phenomenal. This leads into a sequence of franic combat. Everywhere you look, the panels are exploding off the pages.
Readers watch as the full page images are presented in such a magnificent form they will get lost in them. One hero gets a superb showcase in this wild realm. Daredevil’s full pages will absolutely blow fans away. They are worth the price of admission alone! If this wasn’t enough, the closing act continues to pour on the visual drama. One full shot of Moon Knight dictates the rest of the issue. It leads to more stunning visual displays including a show stopping final page. Make sure to shout the art team out on socials for this one.
FINAL GRADE: 9.8
The Suns ride again into the belly of the beast with a non-stop thrilling adventure. MacKay steers events into a surprise twist ending, but the art steals the show on this one. Pramanik & Rosenberg present a magnificent display of combat & drama. You won’t be ready for what unfolds here!
