STORY OVERVIEW:
Daredevil goes to a club to confront a crime boss, Randy. The boss is willing to meet with Daredevil as he needs protection from Punisher. Just when they mention him, Frank Castle arrives and starts dealing out his justice. This starts another fight between Punisher and Daredevil, which gives time for Randy to escape. When Daredevil catches up with Randy, he discovers he is working with the Feds, and they need Daredevil to talk to Punisher and convince him to lay off of them. Unfortunately, Randy’s cover has already been blown, and some very bad people are after him.
WRITING:
This issue offers a fresh perspective on the struggle between Daredevil and Puisher. Jimmy Palmiotti skillfully maintains reader interest during the story’s slower moments, carefully building suspense leading up to the climax. Palmiotti’s talent for creating tension helps the narrative succeed even when the pacing slows. The contrasting philosophies of the two main characters regarding crime fighting make their conflict believable, despite their agreement on nearly everything else.
ARTWORK:
The illustrations in this book are both striking and skillfully rendered. The art team demonstrates considerable proficiency in bringing the narrative to life. Character designs and backgrounds are executed with care and attention to detail, while each panel effectively captures the reader’s interest throughout the issue.

Final Thoughts:
Daredevil & Punisher: The Devil’s Trigger #3 pushes the plot forward while shedding some light on what’s going on. The dichotomy between the two main characters makes this story relatable. The action sequences are top notch; well, the dramatic story portions really drive the story forward. If you are looking for a great action comic with an interesting story this is definitely worth picking up when you are at the shop this week.
