Writing:

Pichetshote doesn’t wait long to drop key facts into the mystery of the killer. The captured conversation with Dinah and Arrow teases more revelations before Hammond jumps in. His taunts lead into an unveiling Readers have been waiting on. The moment spirals into a more detailed look at the shady moves being made by Jubal and Hammond. Dialogue is cutting as Arrow retells a past beginning with much horror destined to find its’ way into forging a killer’s mentality.

It leads into a strong verbal sparring match. Knowing how to push Hammond’s buttons, Arrow takes advantage of the moment. They get an assist from a forgotten soul while upsetting plans. Action revs up with no brakes as dramatic chances are taken. The writing lets one major moment breathe before speeding the pace up. This amplifies Lance’s involvement as she becomes forced to deal with a badly dealt hand. It allows for a few more surprises to be thrown in before jumping head first into a shocking closing point. Readers have much to look forward to this this conclusion.

Art and Lettering:

Albuquerque & Maiolo open with a bleak look to the future. A superb two page spread shows Dinah’s response to the Arrow’s deep foreshadowing of secrets. This becomes thwarted by Hammond’s shocked expressions as he discovers the truth. It doesn’t take long for events to swing back into direction. Hammond’s maniacal looks usher in a frantic sequence. Before that, the art shines in delving into a past encounter which sparked the match of a fire inside a killer’s heart.

Readers watch as panels move quickly once the action rolls out. An intense full page image knocks everything on its’ axis while throwing Dinah into the deep end. A bold half panel shows her resilience as the odds keep getting stacked against. Another great flashback point is dropped to break up the pacing. Maiolo’s coloring brings out the best of these emotional introspective times. Another curve is thrown into play with a magnificent full page shot with Powell’s lettering cementing the impact. This takes events into a somber final act. Emotions cover much ground till stopping everything on a dime with the fill final page. It’s a perfect landing spot for an ever-weaving mystery .

More secrets revealed, more dangers unlocked. Pichetshote keeps the intensity up as Dinah processes what’s she’s learned. Albuquerque & Maiolo unleash a furious display of action amongst the heavy drama. An exceptional journey into the moral compass of justice.
