STORY OVERVIEW:

The final meeting before the big heist spurns some plan changes, but it looks like Sterling had already accounted for them. Now that the day of Fightsgiving is here, it’s time to see if the plan will work or if they will fail. With everyone in their places it’s just time for them to execute. But from the jump things aren’t going exactly to plan, forcing the team to adjust. But even though it looks like Buddy is on to them, Sterling never lets it rattle him at all.

WRITING:

This issue heats up everything going into the final issue of the series. Kyle Starks shows a little bit of his hand in this issue, but not too much leaving some tricks up his sleeves for the finale. The drama in this issue is wonderful and draws the reader in, well the humor keeps you coming back. Starks does a particularly awesome job with suspense as the plan seems to fall apart only to have the rag tag team rise to the occasion. This ups the stakes and keeps the reader engaged throughout the issue and gets them excited for the final issue.

ARTWORK:

The artwork featured in this issue is engaging and well-suited to the narrative. Kyle Starks employs a cartoonish artistic style that effectively complements the story's energy and atmosphere. Starks’ character designs provide clear distinction between characters while also appealing to readers familiar with wrestling culture. The references to real-life wrestlers are evident to fans of the genre. The series maintains a consistent level of enjoyment through both its storytelling and vibrant illustrations.

Final Thoughts:

Wrestle Heist #4 is a great penultimate issue that should have everyone excited for the final issue. This issue, much like the rest of the series, has been super fun and entertaining. Even if you are not a wrestling fan you should find this book fun and enjoyable. However, if you are a fan of pro wrestling this is a must-read series for sure.
