*** POSSIBLE SPOILER WARNING ***

Simone open events with a more serious discussion with Rogue and Gambit. Coming off recent events, there is a new lease of life for Remy LeBeau. Their talk speaks of future plans. Rogue’s reaction is open to the idea of parenthood. This becomes interrupted by a random theft. The writing shows Gambit’s possession tendencies haven’t subsided as much as he would like. This leads to varying reactions. Once that is completed, things get very weird. A shroud of mystery is cast over the young heroes as their locations have changes. It is eerily similar to moments of the past. Seeing one character in particular raises some eyebrows form the Krakoan Era. It leads to a puzzling yet exciting finish. READ LAST ISSUE’S REVIEW!

Vecchio and Wilson begin with a quiet walk for the famous x-couple through the city park. There are many emotions on display as Gambit discusses the possibilities of becoming parents. It is a heartfelt scene that makes an impact. This gets upended by a subtle crime. Gambit’s response is very dark as he slips to his curse. It leaves events in a state of pause. This transitions back to Haven House and the nightmares looming there.

Each Outlier gets a full page image of them sleeping with their uneasy thoughts. Even when the one X-Man gets his happy moment, the mood doesn’t leave the haunting feel as the story comes into closing times. Readers watch as the young heroes appear in different places. Each have a classic feel to them. It is very similar to another time in X-Lore. This leads into the closing pages. They will have readers talking especially after the final page. A full image of what lies there is going to have fans talking as to what can be coming next. After this story concludes, this image needs to be a reality in the X-Verse!

FINAL GRADE: 8.6
