Remy is now under the control of Suzerain and is hunting down Elodie. This forces the student to face the teacher and overcome him for her very survival. Can Elodie escape the grasp of Suzerain well also trying to save Gambit at the same time?

Not every hero feels like a hero right away. This is highlighted in this pre-X-Men story of Gambit, as we continue to follow Remy as he is a thief with a group of bandit kids he cares for. As Suzerain closes in on him and Elodie we get to see the qualities that will make him an X-Man in the future. But first he must beat the rough streets of New Orleans and the psychotic Bullseye.

Chris Claremont is back writing an X-Men title and we all will rejoice! Claremont is tasked with giving us a backstory of one of the most popular X-Men, Gambit. Gambit: Wanted takes us back to a time before Gambit officially joined the X-Men and was still a thief in New Orleans. But when him and his family find themselves on the wrong side of a powerful women, he’ll need to rely on his mutant powers to keep himself and his family safe.
