*** POSSIBLE SPOILER WARNING ***

Thanos hires Bullseye to kill someone hijinks ensue as Nova, Jack of Hearts and Star-Lord have to stop him!

What did we think?

This is a one shot with characters that were all created in 1976, so Bullseye, Star-lord, Nova and Jack of Hearts as your main characters. I am a huge Stephanie Phillips fan. I've loved a lot of her work. Spider-Gwen was fantastic. Daredevil is senational.so you know jumping on board if I see her name in the credits. I'm immediately picking regardless of what it is so here we are

The other part is I love these are obscure characters. I know it's obscure but Nova & Star-lord were before Guardians of the Galaxy was “Guardians of the Galaxy”. As for Jack of Hearts…, I remember being a kid and buying an issue of hulk out of the four for a dollar bin and it had him in it. I thought he was awesome looking and then I had a random two issues of some miniseries he was in. It made absolutely no sense because I didn't have whole miniseries but man i really liked the way that character looked so anytime I'm seeing jack of hearts and something, I'm picking it up.

MORE REVIEWS FROM JOEY!

This was a lot of fun. It was cool seeing this strange disparate group of characters thrown together and trying to stop Bullseye and it's nice to see Dex being used as kind of a bigger villain. Sometimes you might think of him up against these type of powered characters not able to hold his own but certainly in this book, they give him a nice representation.

FINAL GRADE: 8

Anytime Stephanie Phillips is writing something, I'm going to give it a look and I’m glad i did on this one because it was a kick-ass story. The art in this looks great. This was a fun one shot. I’d love to see more years with different weird characters popping up and see what they can do. Excellent story, cool art, & great use of obscure characters! what more can you want?
