Pramanik & Rosenberg bring Marc’s decent into violent view early. The openign page is a trippy full image of Moon Knight jumping into the belly of darkness. Rosenberg’s coloring makes this moment pop before bringing the brutality. Spector’s rage takes hold as the fighting commences. It doesn’t shy away from the endgame at hand. His reactions speak volumes as Ginnarr tries swaying the conversation. Their face-to-face full shot sets the tone for the deceptive game being played.
The close-up of Spector’s bloodshot eye pushes his quest to dangerous places. Readers watch as this all leads to a shocking discovery. Fairchild’s full page introduction is a chilling vision. Pramanik’s details with his eyes makes it all the more uncomfortable. This escalates further as the fighting picks up. Even when one thinks there’s a win to be had, the art shows how far behind Moon Knight is. Ginnarr’s full page injection begins a downward spiral of epic proportions. The art is exploding on each page going right to the exciting finish. Panel structures work to tease the forthcoming reveal. It all ends with a superb final page announcing a grave warning. Can’t speak more highly of the art in this issue.
