STORY OVERVIEW:

The tech billionaire owner of Ayn-Styne, Noah is giving an interview to Kyle who is very critical of Noah and his ambitions. After taking him around and sharing his philosophy about leadership, Noah takes him to a restricted area, but can Kyle trust him. Meanwhile, Ted and Sarah have been rescued by former Ayn-Styne scientist Dr. Christina Paganini, who claims to have answers for Ted. But first they need to lose the Ayn-Styne agents that are chasing after them. Once they do, Christina reveals all the truths she knows about Ted and who and where he came from. However, before that happens Ted has another incident that leaves them all in awe.

WRITING:

Just when you think this story can’t get weirder, it says hold my beer and hits you with more weird. Dave Chisholm continues to craft this weird and unusual world where anything can happen. The more that Chisholm reveals the more questions that get raised. This usually would lead to a bad kind of confusion, but in this story, it just makes you want to go further down the rabbit hole. This unique story pulls you in and hooks you with every new and weird revelation. The originality is off the charts, and Chisholm keeps outdoing himself with the wild situations the characters find themselves in.

ARTWORK:

The art in this issue is a knockout, amplifying the book’s off-kilter energy and keeping every page deliciously unnerving. Dave Chisholm fills the story with visuals that are equal parts striking and unsettling, sharpening the book’s eerie atmosphere at every turn. His artwork blurs the line between reality and illusion, while the color work channels the chaos of the story with real impact.

Final Thoughts:

Is Ted OK? #4 continues to reveal more of what’s going on, well also continuing the strange and unusual happens that also keep happing. The more that gets unraveled, the bigger the ball of yarn reveals itself to be. As weird and strange as this story is, the originality makes it all worthwhile and a must read. When you are at the shops this week, grab a copy and see what all the hype is about.
