STORY OVERVIEW:

Captain Marvel gives a brief history of the Kree’s encounters with the Xenomorph’s. Due to the carnage of their history the Kree have vowed to hunt and eradicate the Xenomorph’s wherever they pop up, so they are more than happy to lend a hand to Cap and company. However, Fury is not that happy with teaming with the Kree. But they don’t have long to figure it out as they must take on Xenomorphs and Hydra soldiers. After defeating the menaces, they discover Red Skull’s true plans for the Xenomorphs and how he is controlling them. Let’s just say it would change history forever if he is successful.

WRITING:

This issue continues to deliver a really solid crossover event. Frank Tieri does an awesome job of making this world feel epic and really raising the stakes and consequences. The action is top tier and delivers a ton of fun kills and situations. But the most important thing that Tieri does in this issue is reveal how the Xenomorphs seem to be in unison with a clear-cut goal. Then adding in the historical significance of the event that is planned to be interrupted really raises the stakes. Frank Tieri does a fantastic job of bringing the readers into the worlds he creates, and this series is no exception.

ARTWORK:

The artwork featured in this issue is intense and graphically detailed. Stefano Raffaele effectively conveys the horror elements of the narrative, illustrating the violent events and their aftermath with remarkable precision. The attention to detail is both impressive and impactful. Neeraj Menon skillfully utilizes color, enhancing the overall effect and supporting the atmosphere of suspense present throughout the work.

Final Thoughts:

Alien vs Captain America #3 is another great installment of this crossover event. The seamless way that the Xenomorphs fit into the Marvel Universe is impressive. If you are a fan of the Alien franchise you will not be disappointed with this series as it treats that universe with a ton of respect. At the same time if you are a fan of Captain America this also stays true to that universe as well.
