It’s definitely a Brand New Day for Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures!

Spider-Man: Brand New Day” smashed box office records with the highest domestic opening weekend in history ($360 million/Over $927* Million globally).

With Tom Holland leading an all-star cast of Marvel Heroes and fan favorites, Spidey’s return had everyone talking and hitting the theatres.

The question now lingers : What will it do for numbers after the opening?

JOEY:

“Spider-Man: Brand New Day is a comic book come to life, I spent half the movie weeping openly between the amazing action and the emotional follow ups on No Way Home. Arguably the best live action SM movie since Rami part 2.”

PAD:

“It’s the best Spider-Man film since Sam Raimi’s second installment in 2004, and it honestly might be better than it. A grounded story amidst the chaos we know is coming for the MCU make this a film that is the perfect summer flick & and even better one for every viewer no matter how big a fan you are. 9/10.”

Juan (via Facebook):

“This is not a Spider-Man movie that relies on nonstop action. Instead, it focuses on evolution, character growth, and setting the stage for what comes next. The performances across the board were excellent, and every actor brought something meaningful to their role. While a few jokes felt forced and did not quite land, they never took away from the overall experience.

There was one major concept introduced that I wish had been explored a little further, but even with that, I had a great time. It is a fun Spider-Man movie that leaves you with plenty to think about and has you wondering what is really going on heading into Avengers: Doomsday. Rating: 9.5/10”

RICH:

“Spider-Man: Brand New Day” went back to the basics and hit it big. At points, it feels like a buddy cop film with Frank Castle, but at the end of the day, its a great drama and win for the MCU.”
