The Story
Steve Foxe’s work in the series continues to excel with a story that fits seamlessly with what we saw in season two on Disney+, and seeing this play out after the season has ended is equally intriguing. It all makes for compelling storytelling and an issue that is sure to impress.
The issue brings the story together in a satisfying conclusion that is very worthy of the animated series name. It wraps things up in a nice bow by the end of the issue and leaves you excited for the next episode (or in this case it would be next series). I really enjoyed how closely the way the story was structured in this story and how much it was able to feel and match the animated series.
The Artwork
Salva Espin & Matt Milla are in charge of the artwork for this issue and they both continue their incredible work at capturing the look from the animated series in such an incredible way. Their ability to capture the look and feel of the classic series is simply spectacular and helps make the readability increase that much more. It really looks like an episode of the series adapted in comic form.
Overall Grade: 7/10
A solid ending to the series that does a great job capturing the look and feel of the animated series in a really faithful way. If you’re a fan of the series, you’re going to want to check this series out.
