STORY OVERVIEW:
Sterling appears to be trapped in a security office in the arena with Buddy Hansen gloating about bringing him down and ruining his plan of revenge. Meanwhile, Digger, Hijo, and Bearwolf are cornered by Fetu in Buddy’s safe. Fetu being one of the toughest and most dangerous wrestlers of all time, the team’s fate is all but sealed. Buddy is alerted to the robbery taking place in his penthouse, which makes him realize that Hijo had lied to him and he was played. This puts him into a panic, and he rushes to the penthouse. Was this all just a big rouge and plan by our would-be robbers? Or is Buddy panicking for no reason?
WRITING:
This final issue of the series delivers on what this series has been moving towards and it’s simply awesome. Kyle Starks pays off our patients with some awesome twists and turns in this finale. The fun and humor we have become accustomed to in this series still takes center ring and doesn’t disappoint. Well, the humor and fun are what drives the entertainment of the story, the true genius is how Starks gives Buddy Hansen his comeuppance. The whole story is built around the teams’ revenge and their struggles to get there. Starks continues to add layers and obstacles in the way of this right up until the final act of this finale. This keeps the reader on the edge of their seats right up until the end.
ARTWORK:
The artwork presented in this issue is both engaging and appropriately aligned with the narrative. Kyle Starks utilizes a distinctive cartoon style that enhances the story's dynamic quality and atmosphere. Starks’ character designs ensure clear differentiation among individuals and are particularly appealing to readers familiar with wrestling culture. References to well-known wrestlers are noticeable to fans of the genre. The series consistently delivers enjoyment through its cohesive storytelling and lively illustrations.

Final Thoughts:
Wrestle Heist #5 is a fitting finale to this awesome and fun series. The suspense and fun are jacked up to eleven in this issue, which makes for a supremely entertaining finish. The cartoonish artwork adds even more to the story and is very enjoyable for the reader. This series has been fantastic and is a real treat for pro wrestling fans and comic fans alike. This is my personal Pick of the Week and should be high on your list of must haves at the shop this week.
