We’re looking at WOLVERINE #28 from Saladin Ahmed,‍ Martín Cóccolo Jesus Aburtov & Cory Petit (Marvel Comics)

* POSSIBLE SPOILER WARNING *

Wolverine is reeling from the fallout of his big battle with adamantine, having lost adamantium on one set of claws and some part of his body and having it on the other hijinks ensue as he tries to meet up with Forge and gets this all settled.

What did we think?

This has been a solid book right since the beginning. What a fun just readable comic book. There's not this is not going to be your crazy “Oh my god! i must read this run it's the definitive wolverine run forever “ and I don't mean that in a bad way I mean that in a way of pick this book every month.

It’s got really cool art & a fun use of different characters.

What I've loved about this run has been all these different characters coming in and interacting. We had Silver Sable at one point, and now Forge popping up in this issue. It’s just and a villain in this one (I don't want to reveal who it is) but we got a cool villain that pops up as well.

MORE WOLVERINE!

It's just pulling in all these different characters from all over the marvel universe and the X-Men universe as well and just using them.

It’s having fun in a comic.

What is wrong with having fun & just picking up a book every month and reading an enjoyable book? There's absolutely nothing wrong with that!

This is a wrap-up issue gets everything off the board ready to rock and roll for our next arc.

FINAL GRADE: 7

I've enjoyed this book since issue one. I'm gonna keep enjoying this book. It’s just a fun easy read of just what you want from a superhero comic.
