Condon keeps the foot on the gas pedal as the stakes keep going higher. The escape from the warehouse is daring. It leads Cain into some twisting paths before landing in immediate danger. Readers watch as he tries navigating an unlikely escape. The Dark laughs at his feeble attempts yet has no answer for them.
The dialogue is spewing venom as the plans for New York come to light. Cain matches it with a valorous rebuttle. This leads into more hijinks as Cain finds a way to evade just enough. This moves events into a thrilling sequence to finish. Nothing better than some aerial heroics with the fate of the world on a pilot’s shoulders. The mood grows even further into peril with the final page. Expect noting but an epic finale to follow this one.

Phillips goes for large panels to illustrate the colossal escape. A full page view shows his reaction to what’s unfolding. It’s a proper one. This leads to a huge two page spread where Ezra finds a way on-board. The frantic struggle leads to a payoff but not before finding more trouble. The Dark’s forces strike when Cain is barely grasping a win.
Readers watch as the banter between Cain and his captors increases with intensity. The panels hold nothing back form the evil brewing around them. This leads to a series of valiant efforts to escape their grasps. Cain’s facial expressions speak volumes. It moves the plot into an aerial battlefield that fans won’t leave from. The art locks in on the desperation to win at all costs. It’s capped off with a terrifying image to close. The full page shot leaves its’ mark as events are on the verge of fully exploding.

Ezra Cain takes to the skies in his last efforts to stop the Brutal Dark, but is it enough?. Condon leans into Cain’s desperation for a thrilling chapter. Phillips orchestrates a combustible scene in the skies with fantastic art. A chilling look into the corruption of power and one mans’ fight against it.
