STORY OVERVIEW:
Captain Coffin and his crew are on the run trying to escape the werewolves that are hot on their trail. They arm themselves with armor made of silver to slow the wolves down. As they make their way through the caverns the wolves catch up and force them to change their plan. At the same time Colonel Ludgate and his men have made their way to the cavern as well. Now, we have an interesting and deadly standoff. How will this end, and will our heroes survive?

The final issue of the series delivers a truly epic conclusion. Mike Carey excels at resolving the story’s loose threads, providing readers with an action-filled climax that does not disappoint. The pacing and intensity of the violence are expertly balanced with dramatic storytelling, showcasing Carey’s skill in creating compelling tension and emotional stakes. The romantic arc between Coffin and Rosamund concludes with a heartfelt and meaningful resolution, offering a satisfying payoff for readers invested in their journey.
