Well guys, I am absolutely loving this Darkness reboot/reimagining that is coming out from Top Cow and Image Comics. Just top tier stuff. This and Witchblade, along with stuff like Rob Liefeld's reintroduction of Youngblood, are just bringing back awesome comics from back in the day and just giving you what you loved, which is awesome art, awesome story, awesome characters. No frills, no nonsense, just hit the ground running, having your face blown off by awesome comics. No exception this month for The Darkness once again.
We get some kick-ass action and some great twists on the storyline. I'm not going to spoil, but if you haven't read The Darkness, you didn't read it back in the day, it's okay. You're going to be perfectly fine just jumping right on board with this reboot. Even if you just jump in on issue 6, they're going to get you right up to speed with everything youneed to know and you're going to jump in and love it.
But if you did, you're going to appreciate some of the nods and twists and turns a little bit as you wait to see some of your favorite characters come back or what they're doing with those characters and different spins on things.
I am absolutely loving this book, guys. This and Witchblade, are awesome, awesome pair of books coming out every single month from Top Cow. Can't recommend it enough.

If you're looking for something a little different that you didn't read before or if you did pick it up or you played the video game back in the day, you want to jump back in, now is the time. Loving the art, loving the storyline. Can't wait for more. Keep it coming.
