*** POSSIBLE SPOILER WARNING ***

What do you think that we think? This is absolutely fantastic. This has a pedigree of creators on it that are absolute masters. It’s an awesome character from back in the day. To me being old, I don’t think of it “that back in the day”. I think of back in the day as 1970’s Marvel comics like “Marvel Team up #3” but here we are.

Its a retelling of his origin. It is a full on reboot. You don’t have to had read all the previous issues. Obviously, You’ll pick up on little nuances if you have. It gets you right up to date. You’ll jump right in.

It has little twists and turns you didn’t see if you’ve read it in the series in the past. Awesome, Awesome stuff is in this book.

The art is breathtaking. The story is amazing with great spins with Marc Silvestri writing.

What more needs to be said with all these classic amazing titles coming back with new content? We have Youngblood and now The Darkness! It feels incredible to go to the comic shops again and this is one of the books driving it.

FINAL GRADE: 10

I am so excited to keep reading this. If you loved the games and old comics and you fell off, now’s the time to jump on. If you never read it and went “That looks really cool”, It’s a perfect time to jump in. Issue #1 is in stores now. Grab it. Love it and let us know what you think in the comments below. Thanks for checking this review out.
