Boba Fett is alive! And he’s coming back for vengeance! In this comic adaptation of the Disney+ series of the same name, what exactly is in store for the galaxy’s most notorious bounty hunter? Let’s jump into it!

The Story
Rodney Barnes continues to adapt the story of the Disney+ series to comic book form in a way that’s still faithful to the source material but still presents in a new way. For readers who may not be familiar with the story it’s a great way to experience it since it follows the same beats and patterns of the original story from the tv series.
The faithfulness of the adaptation of the series continues to be a highpoint of the issue, and it really serves as a great entry point to experience the story if you’re not familiar with it. The story in this issue follows the second episode in a really great way that is sure to feel familiar to those who’ve seen the series, no matter how long it’s been since they’ve seen it. It’s also sure to be extremely compelling way to experience it for those who might’ve passed up on it.
The Artwork
Will Sliney & Rachelle Rosenberg are in charge of the artwork for this issue and they do a tremendous job adapting the characters from the live action series to a 2D format. Their ability to capture that likeness, together with the action sequences really make this feel like you’re reading the storyboards during the development process of the show.
Overall Grade: 7/10
A great issue that adapts the story of the Disney+ series in a way that remains faithful to it’s source material. If you haven’t seen the series and don’t have Disney+ this is a fantastic way to experience the show for the first time as it’s so faithfully adapted.
