Williams opens in 2059 with Stephon’s undercover work at Aion. The tension is overflowing as truths are revealed. It leads to a noble act to try averting disaster. Once events jump back to present day, the tone shifts. Harper’s curiosity leads into more findings as both he and Savannah need to find answers fast. Readers see that when the picture becomes more clear, another crucial finding is unveiled. Someone’s true nature is revealed in the bunker, creating more chaos.

The issue hits strides when Stephon reunites with Savannah and Harper. Their genuine reactions to all that’s transpired hit their marks. It leads into a unique solution that puts a heavy responsibility on one’s shoulders. Williams builds this moment up perfectly. The payoff is a monster win. Showing how hope can become a strength resonates in the finish to the issue at hand. This spins into a solid finish. Savannah’s inner monologue on the final page caps off an impressive tale that shouldn’t be lost in the time streams.

Fulmore and Chavis take Stephon’s mission into dangerous courses in the beginning panels. The mood is clear that time is running out. It leads into a daring escape with an unknown future. Once back in the present, Harper’s youthful wonder steals scenes from the more dramatic setting. As more secrets come to light, Savannah’s reaction mirror the readers. Knowing what is coming, there is an overwhelming sense of worry.

This gets wiped away with an emotional reunion. Stephon’s calm smile breaks down the intensity of the worlds colliding. Harper’s reaction is prime example of how this mood melts away. This leads into a half page shot of someone fixing this dilemma. Watching the surrounding reactions burst with pride becomes a strong statement of their hope. It leads into a quick near full shot of the solution starting to kick in. Once events lead into the close, the art showcases what has been the driver of this entire story: family. There are great panels showing the return to normalcy. It is perfectly wrapped up in a final full page image, showing promise for a better tomorrow.

FINAL GRADE: 8.6

An unlikely hero steps up with the fate of two Earths on the line in this fantastic finale. Williams hits readers with many emotional shots in her writing. Fulmore and Chavis showcase a hero emerging through this chaotic scenario. “Temportal” has been a great sci-fi series that you shouldn’t pass up reading! Check it out!
