Once back on Earth, the focus goes to the plague and its’ domination of Earth. The writing brings out the eternal hope of Superman but is it enough?

The answer is a thunderous YES. Since back from K.O., Kent has been still trying to find his way. The writing opens up a window of opportunity to grasp. Slott pens a classic Superman speech to start the desperate attempt of rescuing the world. It provides a thrilling look at Superman back in the proverbial saddle again. MORE FROM THE KINGDOM OF ZOD!

Stott takes the lead pages while Montos comes in for the closing portion of the book. The starting panels show Zod’s confrontation is poised to cause trouble for Kara and Superboy. As the story comes back to Earth, a solid full page shows Superman’s struggles with the plague. This opens up the chance to find a way to reverse course. The full image of him addressing the family is enough to get the ball rolling on a sorely needed comeback.

Readers watch as the full Gold mode launches into overdrive with a stunning full image. This moves into a two page splash elevating stakes. It allows the mood to start conveying hope in the dark times. This begins to snowball at a high pace. A sensational full page showcases a new look at the Man of Tomorrow with a redefined purpose.
