WRITING:

This final issue in the series gives readers a fun and exciting finish to this arc. Marc Guggenheim taps into the fun tongue in cheek nature of the characters well also delivering an emotional meaningful story. Guggenheim nails the love between Logan & Mariko and the fact that they are star-crossed lovers. The emotional story gets heavy, but Guggenheim does a great job of breaking the mood with humor and of course action. Putting Arachnix into our world puts an interesting twist on this story and forces our heroes to really fight hard for survival. By the end of the issue the reader is completely satisfied and filled with every emotion.

ARTWORK:

The artwork in this final issue delivers the art that we have become accustomed to in this series. Gerardo Sandoval & Victor Nava bring the world to life and make sure the reader sees everything in said world clearly. The character designs are top notch and are truly impressive. The action sequences are on point and give the reader a front row seat to some very awesome sequences. The color pallet that Brian Reber uses really makes the artwork stand out and enhances the overall experience of the story. This art team truly knocked it out of the park in this issue just like every issue before it.
