Talk about ambitious. Esposito and Porter swing big with the opening chapter. The concept of tapping into the various timelines of Rangers provides much excitement and mystery. The writing doesn’t tip its’ hand too early in dealing with its’ lead protagonist. Trini’s role is one with cautious anxiousness as the struggles to prevent her past take hold.
Readers see that she is not the only one trying to find themselves in this scenario. Lord Zedd is up to his nefarious ways, however the mood is vastly different. The writing keeps on edge as the action flies into the spotlight. Esposito and Porter spare no expense on making the fights feel like an event. The deep picks of Rangers enhance every combination of characters. Clues are teased right into the shocking close. This close is definitely going to have the fandom chatting for quite some time! Excellent work.

Zonno & Angulo step up to the multi-loaded action sequences with ease. The defiant full page image of Zedd launches into a quicker pace for the story and never looks back. The introductions of the other Rangers unfold with superb panel shots. Each carries a solid weight to the presence entering the fight. From here the pages light up with a frenzy as the pleasantries come to an end.
Each skirmish jumps off the panels. Pacing moves fast as more fighters step into the scenes. Even with such a larger ensemble, the panels never feel overwhelmed in displaying the action. This carries into a fantastic two page spread of Jungle Fury leading the charge. Readers watch as the fallout takes both leads into very different paths. A near full panel drops an exclamation point on one major character before setting up an even wilder parting shot. The full page image will raise some eyebrows as this new Ranger movement is only getting started.
