*** POSSIBLE SPOILER WARNING ***

Bennett cements the Rangers directly into the line of combat from the start. Their attempt to rescue an infected plane isn’t without hiccups. It reflects how outclassed they are against this version of Rita. Once Jason becomes a cooler head, he prevails in finding a way to reconnect the team’s bond. The writing shows how they have to reformat what they do best.

As the stakes get higher, the unity starts forging back to basic ranger business. This allows the drama to brew to a sizable point. Readers see what is the motivation for this villain’s attack. It draws a strong response out of one particular ranger before switching gears to team business. At this aspect, the conflict is handled in a traditional manner. Its’ fallout plays into Ranger strengths as it closes shop. The epilogue teases more as one element is still unknown at this stage. Overall, a very straight-forward issue.
