Pires begins with Nihlas in his new role at Blackheart Academy. Addressing the crowd weighs heavy on his soul. The dialogue runs with his passion for keeping the Academy thriving. It is a motivational point before gears switch to Henry. Readers watch as his drive takes hold of scenes. Once a piece of evidence comes into light, the tone shifts to a more dire feel. It provides a lead of direction. The result leads to more trouble brewing in the air.

The visit to the biker bar leads to a predicable outcome. It doesn’t take long for Henry to be tested. There’s plenty of intense action going down at this point. Its’ outcome thrusts Henry towards a larger challenge. This match-up delivers on the excitement. Pires speeds up the pace with a touch of grittiness in the panels. It results in more information coming to fruition. The close teases more danger and wonder in play. It’s a solid send-off for where Henry needs to be at this stage. The same can be said for the assailant. One more full image caps off the chess game brewing. Solid issue moving events forward.

Casalanguida mixes in key flashbacks as Nihlas speaks to the masses. The close-up of his face filling with emotion moves into a full page image of the Academy lighting a new fire inside. Henry crashes the chapter with much anger in his face. The case’s frustration is complying on his every move. As the evidence comes int play, the coloring of panels elevates the impact. Readers watching events from this perspective can sense the emotions cultivating as the picture comes into frame.

The biker scenes start with a near full page image. Henry’s quiet smirk lights the match for the wild action sequences. The two-page spread unleashes the violent actions. There are no punches pulled here. Henry’s reactions change to a happy grin while fighting. It provides a break to regroup. The aftermath is a full page statement maker. It serves as an opening act to a greater main event. Readers watch the unforgiving brawl spiral into even more dangerous ground. This shifts into a calmer finish with a great two-page splash. Not to be upstaged, the assailant makes a brief appearance with a striking final page. There are many visuals sure to be fan-favorites by this conclusion.

Another look at the new character from Pires, Franklin Jonas & Maxi Dall'o closes events. Readers get a small peek into a heist with deeper intentions. The art is grim but wearing the main characters guilt on its’ shoulders. This one is something to keep an eye out for in 2026.

When Henry Blackheart heads into dark places while searching for answers, it results in a few brutal confrontations. Pires’ writing cuts loose into the early stages of this case. Casalanguida & the art team leave nothing to chance for the huge fight scenes. This is a journey into fantasy that shouldn’t be missed.
