FANTASTIC FOUR #10 by Ryan North, Humberto Ramos, Victor Olazaba, Edgar Delgado & Joe Caramagna concludes its’ “Invincible Woman” story arc!

Let’s take a closer look at this story finale.

FANTASTIC FOUR #10 by Ryan North, Humberto Ramos, Victor Olazaba, Edgar Delgado & Joe Caramagna (Marvel Comics)

*** POSSIBLE SPOILER WARNING ***

North goes for a strong finish making Malice Storm an ultimate threat. Seeing the unlikely pairing of Scarlet Witch and Bullseye working together is a unique clash of personalities. It kickstarts an insane action sequence as the first family jumps back into the fight. The writing acknowledges the power of two Susan Storms as dangerous threats, so much it literally scares the invasion away! Once that plot point is cleared, it’s full speed ahead to the main event clash.

Readers watch as the star studded affair shows a futile advance in taking Storm down. Watching Wolverine and Deadpool get thrashed in such a violent matter makes a statement. This builds up into a wild final stand. North plays into the strengths of the family as they take their swing. It leads into a fitting finish but not before creating some plots for the future. The epilogue ties up the loose ends before parting with a future uncertain. Readers cant ask for much better than that.

READ LAST ISSUE’S REVIEW HERE!

Ramos and the art team open with a two page spread of Marvel’s most questionable duo. Bullseye’s snark is as sharp as his aim. This leads into friction with Wanda as she fights the invasion. A full page shot welcomes the Four back to Earth and not a moment too soon. Events move fast as the heroes try taking out Storm with little success. There’s no shying away form the viciousness shown towards their efforts. It only pauses to set up the final shot.

Panels lock in on the break-neck pace to try to win. This moves into a full page image which drives home the closing blows. It ushers in the ramifications of the desperate acts. Readers watch as the aftermath slowly eases tensions while setting up a larger stage to walk. The art shows a drastic attempt to save Galactus. It elevates the team’s efforts before one steps in to finish. The near full shot shows completion before landing safely. A more personal look at two friends wraps events up but not before giving readers one more question to ponder with certain expressions.

FINAL GRADE: 8.8

Marvel’s First Family takes one last shot at stopping the Invincible Woman, but at what cost ! North stages the the writing to ensure the event level status. Ramos and the art team unload the arsenal of incredible visuals. Anyone wondering why the FF are Marvel’s greatest team need to look no further than here!
