WWE Survivor Series 2025 Predictions
It’s the time-honored tradition for World Wrestling Entertainment. Since 1986, every November has meant a unique style premium live event. The concept: Team matches that are anything but ordinary. “Survivor Series” has evolved from the last wrestler standing to its’ most anticipated incarnation:
Cue William Regal: “WAR GAMES!”
The two ring, fully enclosed Steel cage match had been a staple for NWA/WCW in the late 1980s. Since WWE acquired WCW, they have adapted the match concept for both NXT and the main roster. Over recent years, it has really stolen the show on the Calander year.
This year’s event is no exception. The 2025 edition of Survivor Series is taking place at PETCO PARK (San Diego, California) on NOV. 29TH. It is the first time the event has been held at a major sports stadium. The WWE is ulling out all the stops for the card, so lets see how this year’s show is looking!
Picture credit: WWE // Rhea Ripley, Iyo Sky, Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair, and AJ Lee vs. Nia Jax, Lash Legend, The Kabuki Warriors (Kairi Sane & Asuka), and Becky Lynch
The first of 2 War Games Matches, but one that will steal the show due to one participant. Iyo Sky has become synonymous with War Games due to her daredevil moonsaults. Sky steps into the moment for this better than anyone on the roster. Look for Lash Legend to follow suit on her performance in this one.
Storyline wise, it has been a good build but not great. The Rhea/Charlotte mistrust almost tips the hand at how this plays out. Even with AJ Lee added, this one looks to end one way.
Prediction: Team Asuka due to Charlotte heel turn
Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs. Nikki Bella (RAW WOMENS WORLD)
This feud came together rather quickly. Vaquer has been making noise since debuting on the main roster. Bella has returned to reclaim former glory after taking her talents to the entertainment filed. After turning on Vaquer, Bella resumes her heel persona (which she is a natural at). With the speed this came together, I don’t think Vaquer is giving up the belt this fast. I can fully see this being drawn out until the Royal Rumble.
Prediction: Vaquer retains.
John Cena (c) vs. Dominik Mysterio (Intercontinental Championship)
Saying this is Cena’s last PLE match is one of the weirdest things I have ever typed. Being the franchise of the company for so many years, this one will be the most emotional to watch. With only one more match after this one, it reflects the high praise Mysterio has been earning. He was just named #1 on the ESPN top 30 under 30 list. Could Cena actually lose this match? I say YES.
With one more match against “The Time Is Now” tourney winner, I don’t think WWE is going to add a title defense to that storyline. Plus, putting Mysterio over would be huge in this spotlight.
Prediction: Mysterio becomes a 2x IC Champ
CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, The Usos (Jimmy and Jey), and Roman Reigns vs. Bron Brekker, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, Drew McIntyre, and Brock Lesnar with Paul Heyman in their corner
Closing down the show will be the Men’s War Games match. Due to Seth Rollins being injured, storylines have been all over the place. WWE loaded the decks on both sides for this one. Reigns and Lesnar returning are an “Emergency, break glass” reflex.
No matter the reason, their addition injected new life into what would have been an easy one to call. If Charlotte doesn’t go heel in her match, don’t be super shocked if Jey Uso turns here. This will be an entertaining one to follow but calling OTC is the one making the pin and teasing more to come for Wrestlemania season
Prediction: Team Punk/Rhode/Usos/Reigns
That’s my predictions for the match, but let me know yours in the comments and on FLZ socials. Who do you see winning the Thanksgiving season tradition in Pro Wrestling? Thanks for reading.
