After losing Tyborus to the Blackstar ambush during the training exercise, Alex is really down on himself. He needs someone to uplift his spirits, so it’s a good thing he must return to Earth and see his family. However, Naxos is still plotting on how she can make him pay, as well as a mystery figure that is attempting to intimidate his family on Earth.

Now that the Star League is finally rebuilding the Starfighter Legion they have a big problem on their hands. The problem is that there is someone or something that doesn’t want the legion put back together. They are actively seeking out the recruits and killing them before they can join. Will Alex and Grig figure out a way to put together a new team, or will this enemy force defeat the Starfighters before they can actually get up and running?

After the events of the movie with the same name, we pick back up with Alex Rogan, The Last Starfighter. After defeating Xur and the Ko-Dan Armada against all odds and saving the universe in the process. Now, Alex along with his co-pilot Grig have been tasked with rebuilding the Starfighter Legion to protect the universe.
