Anta continues to apply pressure on the young trio forcing them to grow up fast. Felipe’s search for his mother continues to be the driving factor as the group begins to accept what’s happened. The writing shows the desperation and anxiousness of the search. It also allows Felipe to show some emotion whole processing the whole picture. READ LAST ISSUE’S REVIEW!

Salcedo and the art team open with a more tense look at Felipe dealing with his cold reality. This slowly evolves as night turns to day. A solid half page shows the trio trekking through the city. It appears as close to a normal moment as possible under the circumstances. The interactions are very organic as the trio banters amongst themselves. This mood doesn’t take long to shift gears into a greater evil.

An upsetting scene rolls out showing an ugly side of society. It will strike a nerve in how the social climate changes. One character steps up and fights for the innocent citizens under attack. A wild two page spread ends this issue for now to move events into calmer waters. Readers watch as the common bond of humanity comes through while showcasing different sides of the current situation. Tensions and Hope run high while contemplating what unfolds next. The art does a magnificent job bringing out the many conflicting looks of NYC residents during this ordeal. It moves to a brutal close and heart stopping final page. There’s no shortage of win happening in these pages.

FINAL GRADE: 9.3
