STORY OVERVIEW:
The demon known as Thalra’dun finally showed itself to the family and Prime Minister Carnegie. As it now has a stranglehold on Prince Theo, it counts down the moments before the King dies and Theo is King. This is all part of its master plan and its playing out to perfection. Unfortunately for the demon the family has some back up in the form of the Nuncio, Father Reid. Since the exorcism at the White House, Father Reid has been staying prepared. Armed with faith and righteousness, it will be up to the father and the family to free Theo of this curse. The bad news for them is Thalra’dun is not willing to give up the prince and its plans without a fight.
WRITING:
This final issue of the series takes us on one hell of a ride and never slows down from start to finish. Hannah Rose May continues to prove why she is one of the best writers in the horror genre today. The thrills, the twists, the dark humor, and the suspense are all turned up and keep even the most jaded of readers on the edge of their seat. The return of Father Reid not only connects this series with its predecessor but also solidifies this universe. Couple that with the ending teasing where we may go next and that this story is still bigger than we ever thought. May builds so much suspense throughout this series and issue, you think something else may happen even after you read the final page.
ARTWORK:
The artwork in this final issue strengthens the story and draws readers fully into its world. Kelsey Ramsay captures the book’s intensity with illustrations that convey despair and highlight a family and nation in crisis. Her visuals deepen the emotional impact by making the characters’ fear and uncertainty feel immediate.
Heather Breckel heightens that effect with a dark color palette that makes each image feel heavier and more ominous. Jodie Troutman’s lettering further reinforces the story’s bleak, threatening tone, tying the visual presentation together effectively.

The Exorcism at Buckingham Palace #3 pays off everything it has built up so far. The story hits its logical conclusion, while still convincing the reader that this may go a different way. The set up for the continuation of this story and a possible next series ends this book on a high note. I can’t wait for another part of this story. If you haven’t been reading this series, make sure you keep your eyes out for the Trade when it hits the order sheet.
