CHACHU #1 (Image Comics)
It’s New Comic Book day and a very big debut is hitting the stores.
Chachu #1 by Iman Vellani, Marianna Ignazzi, Jordie Bellaire & Lucas Gattoni (IMAGE COMICS) is making a lot of buzz.

This was a fun first issue. It was one of the most solid first issues I’ve read in a while. The book just hooks you right from the beginning & it makes you want to like what's
going on here. You read more and you're like “oh what's going on HERE”. It's just so awesome.

We follow our main protagonist which is Leila, who is trying to find her chachu which in Pakistani means like their uncle on their father's side. Everyone in her family has a
depiction of him but this is the closest thing that she has to her father.
She wants to meet him and get to know him better so she's going off to Los Angeles to go to college and she finds him. When she finds him, he's just like a regular ass dude and like but some nefarious things are happening surrounding him. It was so good!
FINAL GRADE: 9.5
Right when i was done reading this book, I'm like “I want more!” I want the second issue right now! If you're not picking up Chachu #1, you need to change that! Get into your car, go
back to your local comic book shop and pick up this issue!
