Hello there! Padawan J here, the resident Star Wars expert from the ODPH! This week I'm going to be reviewing the FIRST issue of G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero/Tomb Raider from Image Comics and Skybound Entertainment!

The Baroness is framed for the murder of Crystal Ball!

When she walked in on Zartan’s brutal killing of the illusionist, it exposed his disguise as General Hawk! Now, he’s got Night Force on the hunt for the rogue agent.

MA.S.K. is still riding on Venom's trail, but should you be riding down to the comic shop and grabbing this issue?

The covert actions of General Hawk have finally been exposed!

For months, Hawk has been putting together an alternative to G.I. Joe in NIGHT FORCE.

Bruce Sato and Gloria Baker have been taken down byMiles Mayhem!

The leader of V.E.N.O.M.has made a huge statement. This doesn’t sit well with one person

Some ghosts are better left alone.

While on a mission to find Energon, a G.I. Joe team runs into Destro representing Cobra. They are both trespassing on Crystal Ball’s territory and now have to fight their way out.

Matt Trakker & Miles Mayhem have made their first moves in the Energon Universe.

Trakker has dealt with the Government befoe. This time, he’s playing by his own rules. Meanwhile, Mayhem is up to exactly that. His group has stumbled upon something that could put the world in jeopardy!

Crystal Ball has both G.I. Joe and COBRA seeing ghosts.

Using D.I.R.E. tech, he’s keeping both forces at bay in his mental games. His latest target is one that has more than a few skeletons in his closet. A great secret is about to come to light in the Energon Universe.

Ever since 2023, the Energon Universe by Skybound Entertainment has been on the top of readers pull-lists!

Void Rivals opened the door. Daniel Warren Johnson’s Transformers blew it off its’ hinges. G.I. Joe has been tearing the house down each and every issue. All these amazing characters led by some of today’s best creators has cemented their place in comics fandom. It’s left some fans asking how are they going to keep that momentum going. They got their answer with some key cameos.

After the Dreadnok War, the quest to find Energon has never been greater.

Both G.I. Joe and COBRA are going to great lengths to find the powerful energy. One thing they cannot predict is a new player stepping into the game. They have D.I.R.E. tech and ulterior motives. He also has his sights set on the newest Joe!

In 1983, Marvel Comics released G.I. Joe #21 by Larry Hama. The issue was entitled “Silent Interlude”. It is legendary not because its’ the first appearance of Storm Shadow. The Snake-Eyes driven story stood out for another reason.

The story had no dialogue.

It has been a minute since fans saw one Shana O’Hare grace the Energon Universe.

Last time readers saw Scarlett, she was going on a mission to find Jinx. This led to her involvement with The Arashikage. It also brought one of the most notorious characters of G.I. Joe lore into the EU. His name is STORM SHADOW!

Duke is NOT happy.

The Dreadnok War ended with some help from a surprise “ally”. Hound of the Autobots has been working with Clutch for quite some time. Their partnership became public to save the team. This didn’t sit well with the G.I Joe leader.
